Unidentified Feiger Family Photographs #6

Photographs from the album of Philip David Feiger and Juliana (Krauth) Feiger.

I do not have a photograph of the back side of this set of photographs. The child in the middle of the bottom row is Walter Henry Feiger, 1871-1935.

A. J. Bradshaw Photor. Traverse City

Note written by either Julia or Celia Feiger. This photograph is reportedly Philip David Feiger, 1839-1893. The photo was taken in Traverse City, where Philip lived from 1879 until his death. The A. J. Bradshaw studio was in operation in 1897 in Traverse City, but I do not know whether he was working there as early as 1893 (and of course, copies were sometimes made of earlier photographs).

 A second set of photographs.

The use of the orange United States Internal Revenue stamps indicate these photographs were taken in 1864 or 1865.

Unidentified Feiger Family Photos #1

These photos are from a large album once owned by Philip David Feiger and his wife Juliana (Krauth) Feiger. The photos are probably family members and friends in Meigs County, Ohio and Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Unfortunately, all are unidentified. The album is current owned by Walter and Susan Feiger, who kindly allowed me to photograph the pictures. I will be posting the photos in sets of three to five, with each photo's front and back shown. How many people with Feiger and variant surnames are there on the United States census? I searched the following five names and got these counts. For 1790 to 1840, the number is the numbers of heads of households and for 1890, that refers to Civil War veterans.

I was surprised at how many there were!
